Bengals QB Joe Burrow suffered a right wrist sprain in Thursday's loss to the Ravens.

Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor confirmed the sprain and was not aware of any previous injury.

Burrow left the game in the second quarter after injuring his wrist on a 4-yard touchdown throw.

He returned to the sideline in the second half without a helmet, replaced by backup Jake Browning.

The video before the game showed Burrow wearing a brace on his right hand/wrist.

Burrow did not appear on the Bengals' injury report this week.

This comes after Burrow's earlier calf strain, which affected his preseason and early-season play.

The Bengals are collectively holding their breath for updates on Burrow's condition.
