NFL linebacker released Thursday afternoon in a Dallas suburb after posting $5,000 bond

Von Miller, an edge rusher for the Buffalo Bills, is out on bond after authorities claim he shoved his expectant partner.

and placing his hands on her neck while they were having a fight at their Dallas residence.

Dallas Police report that on November 29, at approximately 11 a.m.

they received a call about a significant disturbance in the 3100 block of North Harwood Street. Authorities stated,

According to the preliminary investigation, Vonnie Miller, 34, is the suspect.

and following a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect, the victim was assaulted.

Miller reportedly left the scene before law enforcement could arrive and make an arrest. A warrant was issued for the victim's assault,

third-class felonies. Miller turned himself in to the Glenn Heights, Texas, police.

Thursday afternoon, and our friends at KRLD radio said that he was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
