Rangers vs. Diamondbacks updates | Arizona strikes first in World Series Game 2

The Texas Rangers won the World Series opener in dramatic fashion,

getting a game-tying homer from Corey Seager in the bottom of the ninth

and a walk-off shot from Adolis Garcia in the 11th to stun the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Texas will try to build off that momentum in Game 2 on Saturday night at Globe Life Field,

sending lefty Jordan Montgomery to the mound. A midseason acquisition,

Montgomery is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA across 25 innings in the postseason. Merrill Kelly (2.65 ERA in three postseason starts) goes for the Diamondbacks,

trying to even things up before the series shifts back to Phoenix for Game 3.
