Justin Timberlake is believed to be afraid of his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears’ large fan base as he prepares to embark on his first U.S. tour in five years.
According to In Touch Weekly, the singer-actor is concerned that the Toxic singer’s fans would turn his tour into a “disaster” due to bombshell charges Spears made about him in her memoir.
In his bombshell autobiography, The Woman in Me, Spears alleged that Timberlake cheated on her during their three-year relationship, even forcing her to have an abortion.
The book not only hurt his reputation but now threatened his next tour, which is due to commence on April 29, claimed
an insider.
Justin has already received a lot of blowback on social media, which has taken a toll on the nice person reputation he’s always worked hard to maintain,” the tipster told the publication.
They added. “Now he’s going to put himself out there for public scrutiny, and he’s really worried this tour could turn into a disaster!”
According to the insider, the Cry Me a River singer may address Spears’ allegations in her book during the early dates of the tour “in the hopes that it will all just go away.”
“Britney’s revelations boxed Justin into a corner,” they were quoted as saying. “He’s really afraid he’s going to be hounded by her fans on this tour.”
